Here's a breakdown of what's new in AEM to help you stay ahead of the curve. AEMaaS leverages a continuous release model, delivering updates more frequently. A friend reached out recently and asked what I feel is a really important question that I'll paraphrase: what do you foresee market-wise for AEM Developers and Architects and would you recommend to AEM practitioners that they diversify their skillset into other areas of the Adobe Experience Cloud? My answer is that I actually see a short-term AEM boom coming of, perhaps 1-3 years, where the work, while shorter on a per-project basis, will be plentiful. To the second part, however, I would absolutely recommend AEM practitioners begin diversifying their capabilities and would recommend they do so in one of two ways:1. Diversify alongside Adobe's Experience Cloud Marketecture structure (https://lnkd.in/g5sSnbAc)2. Diversify into capability "pockets" or "streams" such as AEM + AA + AT or alongside the pocket/stream that is Content Supply Chain (Creative Cloud ==> Workfront ==> AEM ==> AEP).With either approach, you'll find that Adobe's Experience League has come a very long way in terms of training, tutorials, and documentation. Ramping up on a new technology isn't as painstaking as it used to be and while, again, I feel there will an initial flood of upcoming AEM work, I do encourage everyone to pick up another technology or two if only at the Business Practitioner level. As for me? I've got a foot in two camps right now: AEM + AEP (and it's various services such as AJO and RTCDP) as well as Content Supply Chain. How about you?

While working with Adobe Experience Manager, we often come across a question around which flavor of AEM should we choose. With each having their benefits and shortcomings the decision is not a straightforward one. I tried to put my thoughts around it with the help of my good friend and very experienced architect Vivek Sachdeva.Hopefully it can help simply the decision making process for you and your business when it comes to selecting AEM Deployment Model. Happy to hear your thoughts and feedback.https://lnkd.in/guW-_Tec#AEM #AEMasCloudService #AdobeManagedService #AdobeExperienceManager

Hello, #TechCommunity,Adobe has released an exciting update to the Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) as a Cloud Service, and I wanted to share some highlights that particularly stand out for us in the tech industry.1) AEM Authoring for Edge Delivery Services:This update integrates AEM Sites with Edge Delivery Services, enabling companies to create high-speed, high-performance webpages, while leveraging AEM's robust content management capabilities.2) Universal Editor for Headless Implementations:This feature allows decoupled web applications to utilize the same intuitive in-context WYSIWYG authoring previously exclusive to traditional sites. It adapts to various web architectures, making content editing more flexible and straightforward.3) Content Management OpenAPIs for Content Fragments and Models:Developers can now interact programmatically with Content Fragments and Content Fragment models, performing CRUD operations using Content Management OpenAPIs.These are just a few of the many updates in the latest release, and in the coming days, I'll be sharing more on the new features and enhancements. How do you think these updates will affect your work with AEM? Let's connect and discuss!https://lnkd.in/dzY78kmW#AdobeExperienceManager #AEM #CloudServices #TechUpdate
