Day #1 in France We are going on a three-day pilgrimage to Pariz - Chapitre. During that time, we will walk 100 kilometers, sleep in a tent, and eat canned food. This is the first time in the history of the entire procession that an organized group of pilgrims from Croatia is coming. All in honor of Our Lady. Pray that we endure.

Day 2# in France. So far we have walked about 21 kilometers, which is around 28,000 steps. We have just as much to go. Keep us in your prayers so that we can endure another 90 kilometers more easily.God's bless!

One of the advantages of living in Croatia is that if you try to kill yourself, it's much more likely that you won't succeed. For example, imagine you tie yourself to the railroad tracks and wait for a train. You check the schedule and think to yourself, "My life is finally over, I have 20 more minutes until the train arrives, no more troubles of this world". But the best part is that the train doesn't come at all, so you get bored of waiting and in the meantime, you get hungry. You remember there's a good piece of meat left in the fridge, you untie yourself from the tracks, and life suddenly makes sense again. 😅

Today we celebrate Mother's Day. 🥰It is a day when we remember the importance of a mother for the development of a person and the building of society. The Virgin Mary is the perfect depiction of a mother and the perfect representation of God's servant. If there were more people like the Virgin Mary, the world would be a much more beautiful place.Happy Mother's Day to all dear mothers and those of you who will become one.Follow Apostollo! 😇

This morning I #woke up feeling rested and refreshed. After Switzerland's victory, things make sense. Finally, there is peace in the world. There are no more hungry people, no more wars. I really appreciate this inclusiveness and diversity. Indeed, we need more of that. ❤

For over 1000 years, we have had Benedictine nuns on the island. For over 500 years, we have held a procession in honor of the victory over the plague.Just slightly less than that, there is a custom in the procession to carry a picture of the Virgin Mary. A young Benedictine nun named Luciana brought it to the monastery after the Virgin Mary appeared to her, and she was able to walk again afterwards. What is the connection between the Benedictines and the "Za Križima" ("Crosses") procession?Besides what was mentioned, the Benedictines are like planting a tree. They care for its growth and watch it progress.Plant a seed and care for it to sprout. To be in a community and give oneself to it. To take care that it grows. Thus, the procession contributes to that community. To walk under the cross. And to follow the cross. Most of those in the procession are not practicing believers. The question is whether they are believers at all.But they contribute to the community.Smaller communities are a blessing, not a curse. In smaller communities, there is still the custom of greeting people, even if you do not know them.Smaller communities are peaceful. They are great for family life. They are not like the busy city life. But the value of larger communities should not be underestimated.Wherever we are placed, we contribute. Or at least we should.Even if minimal. If you want to help the community, visit Apostollo. It's a place for Christian travelers and renters. And enjoy life and God's fruits.God's bless!

Every first Saturday of the month, men gather to pray the #Rosary in Zagreb and several other Croatian cities like Split and Rijeka. The prayer starts at 8:30 AM at Ban Josip Jelačić Square, followed by Mass. The intentions for the prayer are:1. For the homeland, peace, and the conversion of the Croatian people.2. For men – to become spiritual authorities in the family who will courageously witness and pass on the #Catholic faith.3. For life in premarital purity, for modesty in dress and behavior, and for the renewal of Catholic #marriages.4. For the end of abortion and openness of married couples to life.5. For authentic and uncompromising church shepherds and new spiritual vocations.6. For the souls in purgatory.7. For personal intentions. If you want to connect with God and the local community, come to the prayer!Follow Apostollo!

May is the month of devotion to Mary, and the first Saturday of the month, when the Rosary is publicly recited, is ideal for beginning the devotion of the First Five Saturdays. The devotion of the First Five Saturdays originated from the apparition of Our Lady in Fatima in 1917.Mary showed her heart wrapped in thorns and spoke these words:"Have compassion on the Heart of your Most Holy Mother, pierced by thorns, which ungrateful people thrust into it every moment, and there is no one to make atonement to remove it! At least you try to console me and tell everyone that to all those who on five consecutive first Saturdays of the month confess, receive Communion, pray the #Rosary, and spend 15 minutes with me contemplating the mysteries of the Rosary, with the intention of making reparation to me, I promise my presence at the hour of death with all the graces necessary for their salvation!"This devotion consists in the faithful on that day:1. Confessing and receiving Communion;2. Praying one mystery of the Holy Rosary;3. Contemplating the mysteries of the Holy Rosary for fifteen minutes;4. Intending to make reparation to the Immaculate Heart.Follow Apostollo! 😊
